According to airlineroute.net, Philippine Airlines will codeshare flights from Toronto to Montreal and Ottawa, and Vancouver to Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto (starting March 15, 2015), and Winnipeg. The carrier will be able to book and sell the new Canadian destinations as if it were operating in the said cities, with WestJet as the operating carrier, thus providing seamless connectivity, a report said.

Similarly, WestJet can also book and sell Philippine destinations as if it were operating the Philippine flights, the source added. However, Philippine Airlines will cease operating its Vancouver-Toronto route on March 15, 2015 which will be taken over by WestJet.

With the planned codeshare agreement, passengers travelling to Vancouver will be able to connect to WestJet's Canadian destinations. Passengers will be able to pay and book for connecting flights to Canada. Both carriers will have a revenue-sharing basis as part of its agreement.

Besides, WestJet passengers will be able to book their flights for the Vancouver to Manila flights, and directly to their domestic destination of choice. According to our research, WestJet and Philippine Airlines currently has an interline agreement. This means passengers will be able to get to their destination via a connection using two different airlines.
